Mark Rengers, owner of the Sewickley Gallery and Frame Shop, had a particular interest in preserving his children's artwork. While framing their young "masterpieces," Mark had imagined a way to streamline and modernize the process, even envisioning these keepsakes as part of his home's décor. While the demands of parenting and running a business took precedence, the idea kept percolating. Twenty years later, Mark brought his idea to life, thanks to his great niece, Maya.

Maya, a prolific young artist, produces wonderful pieces that adorn her parent's fridge. This "gallery space" -- abundant with clutter -- was sufficient inspiration to turn Mark's long-held vision into reality. The result is Maya’s Crayon―a process “as easy as 1-2-3” for parents, grandparents, extended family, and friends to preserve, organize, and showcase children’s work.

Mark’s team of design and photography professionals will showcase every brushstroke, color, and fingerprint. Arranged in a custom collage, according to your specifications, the final piece is showcased in a handcrafted wooden frame.
